Life as I know it!

If someone wrongs you, she/he should feel bad and not you. If someone dislikes you, then that is his/her problem and you shouldnt be bothered by it at all. People are meant to be cared for and regarded well and things are supposed to be used; but we attach so much importance to things and care for them but we end up using up people without a regard for them.
No school/college/university teaches us how to handle the different situations in life nor is how to live life taught to us anytime during our growing up years. All we ever learn is how to handle the routine mundane activities, some to do with our future profession and some to do with our hand to mouth existence. Wooh! I love maths and geography and history but as a child I couldn’t understand what the lessons these subjects want to teach me( which I will need to emulate practically all my adult life). And before I knew it I was plunged in this so called adult life where I am supposed to know all about handling/dealing with other homo sapiens ‘cause in the real world my life’s success will depend on how well I handle the equations of others in my life.
1999, I had planned with a close friend that we will end up watching the next world cup which was to be held in S Africa once we both finished college. How mere wisps of dreams vanish if not given a ground to stand on or speck of cloud to fly on? (I ain’t a water person).
The biggest lesson we all must take back from learning institutions where we all spend a considerable period of our childhoods ( if at all we do!) that we will get hurt. Pain is inevitable but the presence/absence of mere pain does not dictate someone’s happiness quotient! It is upto someone’s will power or self determination or self confidence in all mental strength to handle the sine wave of life. But as children we are not taught all this. Oh! Yes, there are different schools also plying successfully in this nation of mine which do not require any fees structure nor any registration. Probably, they teach more of life than these so called organised institutions of ours and I guess it is required more for those kids who are exposed to raw unadulterated life without any offered protection unlike the rest of us.
Okay, so back to my main thread... Many a times, I find myself saying Life sucks (no pun intended). It does, indeed. Suck it like a bitter pill and it craps inside you. Suck it like a gooseberry and you realise that the sweetness is there to stay; when it lingers on in your mouth. Ha! It really works. The tough part is waiting for the bitterness to pass over and the sweetness to take over. Patience seldom is gifted; has to be inculcated with determination.
Life is simple. We all get overwhelmed when we stare at the pieces of jigsaw puzzles. Only when we see the complete picture and see carefully and closely do we get struck by the fact that how ordinate the phases of our life were which we considered difficult and complex. We all need love and attention not the kind that deserves profanity but the kind our dogs give us even when we look morose and dead even to our dead beaten selves. (Those who never had a dog in life will never completely realise how pure love can be). Instant gratification! But the watchword here is love and attention in its simplest and basic meaning.
I have to watch out for more on life as we all live it!
